Hot Wheels Redlines '68 - '72
Considered by most Hot Wheels collectors as the coolest to collect! These amazing cars had cool spectraflame paint, working suspensions, redline tires (very in style at the time) and moving parts, along with rake, making them literally 100% better than everything else on the market at the time. We have grouped the cars by year, and then below I have added subsets that ran across several years, including Grand Prix racing, the Heavyweights, and others.
Just click the image of the car to see the colors currently in the hoard in each casting. Right now, we are missing an Olds 442, a Noodlehead, and a Skyshow Deora in the hoard, but have at least on of everything else. We have to take pictures of a Special Delivery and a Racer Rig as well... As we add colors we do not have, an update icon will show. Also, we have been asked about how much these cars cost. We do not collect the pristine examples, so most have been very affordable. This redline collection started in 1997, so some examples were less expensive back then, but 95% of the cars you see were purchased for under $20 each, either by buying lots or individual cars or even better, via trades. |

grand prix
Just to get together some groupings, we have put together castings that came on related blister packs. All of the cars below are part of the Grand Prix Series Cards. They came out in different years, but the cards they came on were identical.
