hot wheels made in france
In the late 80's some production of Hot Wheels was done in Europe, creating some very hard to find cars. In this new era of the internet, nothing is too hard to get though, unless it was truly rare, so we here at LCTC have managed to get some of these models at reasonable prices. Some of these cars were shipped to Canada for sale, some are European only models.
There are a bunch more that we are not showing here, and the search goes on for more. Given that we typically will not spend more than $20 for any car, we are not sure how many more we can get unless some trading is involved. Stay tuned!
A couple other groups of cars were produced in France at the same time. Steering Rigs, with slightly different colors were made (highly collectible) and Crack Ups with some tampo variations also were produced. Those that we have are pictured in their parent areas.
There was a run of cars available only in Europe with the "BP" tampo on them. We do not know how the promotion worked for those cars in conjunction with BP, so hopefully one of our European friends can help us out!
