Well, as with most holiday seasons, I always seem to find more cars at retail. All the stores stock up, and it seems to be harder for the hoarders and scalpers to get every single car. I think this is a function of them not having enough money and not being able to get to each store every single day as stock rolls in. The good news is that I finally find short run cars.
M2 VW Delivery Van short run with Gold Wheels.
So, found an M2 Machines chase car, our first ever! The fact that it is a VW bus just makes it that much better as we are always up for a new VW!!
Redline Hot Wheels T-4-2
Added this in an eBay lot win. We have already sold most of the rest of the cars, so this one is essentially free, a color we did not have and added to the hoard! A little edge wear, so it may get upgraded down the road...
Hot Wheels Mainline Porsche 356A Outlaw
I added a TON of mainline Hot Wheels the last few weeks. This one is the favorite, a matte black Porsche 356A. On some websites there has been comment about the tampos not being that great, but I do not have a problem with them!
Matchbox Mainline pickups
I collect forestry service colored Matchbox, so cool to see another come in the mainline. The two trucks are very nice, never thought I would find them. I am now on the watch for the red Jeep Willys pickup.
Super Champions Porsche 917 France, 1974
I do not collect a lot of 1:43 scale cars. Super Champion is an exception! They were made in France in the 60's and 70's and the castings were picked up by other companies down the road, but they were one of the first to market for exceptionally cool Can-Am and LeMans cars from the 70's, including my favorite car of all time, the Porsche 917. This came from a purchase via a collector board.
Hot Wheels Super Treasure Hunt Toyota Off-Road Truck
Again, never find these, but this one was found at Walmart at 3:00pm sitting in a dump bin. It was probably found 2 months after they first started showing up, very interesting. This one is staying in the collection for sure!
